Ten shades of hope

Today I thought I would do things a bit differently and write about what qualities I feel represent Hope. This is only my personal view, however if you wish to have a hopeful perspective then you may wish to consider these. And today’s recipe of hope is to study the list, or write your own Hope List (and do please share that with us).

  1. Hope is kind
  2. Hope is positive
  3. Hope is courageous
  4. Hope smiles even when in pain
  5. Hope gives to others
  6. Hope is compassionate
  7. Hope is helpful
  8. Hope always perseveres
  9. Hope always thinks the best of others
  10. Hope is forgiving

This is not an exhaustive list, but I think it helps to define hope a little more. One thing I am very interested in is hope stories. If any of you lovely followers have any stories of hope, please share them. Or if you know someone who carries hope in some way (Jeremy Jain Babu, I feel you do this for fellow bloggers ) please share it with us.

I wish you a very hopeful day X

I am a qualified social worker and run a community project for vulnerable adults. I am passionate about social justice. I feel that every life matters. No-one is insignificant or invaluable. I also believe that everyone has the power to change, although some may not wish to. Essentially, I believe in hope. Hope Wells is my writing name.
